Al Jazeera Media Institute Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Qatar Debate Centre in the framework of providing media services.The signing on the sidelines of the First International Conference on Debate and Dialogue was done by Aljazeera Media Institute director Eman al-Ameri and Qatar Debate Centre executive director Dr Hayat Abdullah Marafie.Al-Ameri noted that the cooperation between the two institutions dates back to 2017 when a number of specialised courses with Qatar Debate Centre.Dr Hayat explained that the MoU represents a greater documentation and consolidation of the continuous long-standing cooperation relationship between the two institutions."Through this partnership, we aspire to exchange experiences between the trainers of Qatar Debate Centre and Al Jazeera Institute in order to produce and develop new training courses that will provide and add a new qualitative addition to the training content for the interested audience."We are confident that this partnership will have a positive impact on many of our ongoing programmes such as the Elite Academy, Masar Academy and the Master of Debate in Comparative Jurisprudence."We at Qatar Debate Centre are keen to provide professional training in the media aspects such as those provided by the Institute to integrate with our training content we provide for our members to refine and polish their skills," Dr Hayat added.
