The draw for the Qatar TotalEnergies Open 2023 for women's tennis took place in Doha Saturday. The competition will start on Monday.The draw will see the top four seeds get a first-round bye. They are Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Caroline Garcia, Jessica Pegula.The tournament includes 19 players from the world's top 20 ranked players, led by World No.1 and defending champion Swiatek.Secretary-General Secretary General of Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation Tariq Zainal, director of the competition Saad Al Mohannadi, and Director of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open Karim Al Al Alami all attended the draw.The highlight of round 1 will see former Qatar TotalEnergies Open winner Petra Kvitova meet China's Zhang Shuai.
