President Masoud Pezeshkian and his accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani and Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the State of Qatar Ali Salehabadi.

His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met on Monday with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the Republic of Lebanon Youssef Raggi, on the sidelines of the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit hosted by Doha on Monday. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them, as well as developments in the region, particularly the treacherous Israeli attack that targeted Doha. HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed during the meeting that the State of Qatar will take all necessary measures to protect its security and preserve its sovereignty in the face of the blatant Israeli attack. For his part, the Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated his country's solidarity with the State of Qatar, describing the Israeli attack as a violation of Qatar's sovereignty and international law.
