The Ministry of Municipality's Agriculture Quarantine Offices examined 5,452 consignments weighing 84,712 tonnes of various imported agriculture products through the various customs points of the country during July.





Accordingly, 78 consignments weighing 36.68 tonnes were destroyed for violating the agriculture quarantine law and being infected with various bugs. The agriculture quarantine is considered the frontline of protection for plants in the country against agriculture bugs that could come from abroad through imported products.
