His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and Maltese President Dr George Vella Monday discussed bilateral relations and ways to support and develop them, particularly in investment, education, culture and tourism spheres.
They also discussed a range of regional and international issues of common interest in talks session held at the Amri Diwan.

The session was attended by HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, HE the Chief of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, HE the Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed al-Kuwari, HE the Minister of Sports and Youth Salah bin Ghanem al-Ali, HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Buthaina bint Ali al-Jabr al-Nuaimi and HE the Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad al-Thani.





Maltese President Dr George Vella accorded an official reception ceremony at the Amiri Diwan.







The session was attended by Maltese Minister of Finance and Employment Clyde Caruana and Minister of Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation Dr Clifton Grima.
His Highness the Amir hosted a lunch banquet in honour of the Maltese president and his accompanying delegation.
Earlier, the Maltese president was accorded an official reception ceremony at the Amiri Diwan.
