The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has reported, in its weekly Covid-19 report for the May 30-June 5 period, a daily average of 223 cases among the community and 23 among travellers.
This marked an increase over the weekly data published earlier for the May 23-29 period, when a daily average of 159 coronavirus (Covid-19) cases among the community and 19 among travellers were reported.
Recoveries also increased during the same period, up from a daily average of 132 to 176.
Following are the highlights of the weekly report published by the ministry on Monday, for the May 30-June 5 period:
 
Covid-19 cases
** Daily average cases among community: 223
** Daily average cases among travellers: 23
** Total number of current active cases: 1,863
** Total number of positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Qatar until now: 370,235
* Recoveries
** Daily average of recoveries for the last seven days: 176
** Total recoveries until now: 367,695
 
Deaths
** Number of deaths in the last seven days: 0
** Total number of deaths until now: 677
 
Vaccination
** Daily average Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in the last seven days: 3,315
** Total number of booster doses administered to date: 1,63,6487
** Total number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered since the start of vaccination campaign: 6,906,859
 
 Covid-19 testing
** Daily average number of tests for the last seven days: 14,181
** Total number of people tested to date: 3,564,556
* Hospital acute care
** Daily average of acute hospital admissions for the last seven days: 4
** Total number of people currently under acute hospital care: 27
 
Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
** Daily average number of ICU admissions in the last seven days: 0
** Total number of people currently in the ICU: 0
