Commander of Joint Special Forces partakes in US industry conference

Commander of the Joint Special Forces Staff Brigadier General Jassim bin Ali al-Attiyah participated in the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC), which was held in the city of Tampa, US. In a statement published on its website, the Ministry of Defence stated that 74 countries participated in the conference and discussed the core integrated deterrence strategy with partners and allies.
On the sidelines of the conference, Staff Brigadier General Jassim bin Ali al-Attiyah met with Commander of the US Special Operations Command General Richard D Clarke. The meeting discussed a wide range of issues of common interest. Staff Brigadier General al-Attiyah also visited the special forces military industries exhibition and toured the sections that display state-of-the-art military equipment.
