* Corporation initiates 'Back to Normal Plan'

In line with the gradual lifting of Covid-19 restrictions nationwide, the Primary Health Care corporation (PHCC) has outlined a three-phased implementation plan between February and April.
With Phase 1, which came into effect Tuesday, PHCC has initiated a ‘Back to Normal Plan’. As part of the plan, all PHCC health centres will offer 50% face-to-face consultation across all services, such as the Family Medicine Model, Dental General, Dental Specialty and all specialty services.
Virtual consultations will also continue to be provided, as per patient preference. The Rawdat Al Khail Health Centre will continue to operate as a Covid-19 dedicated health centre, and drive-through swabbing services will be provided at PHCC health centres until further notice.
In addition, SMART clinics and Dental services will function at 50%, while the Community Call Centre will offer urgent consultations.
PHCC is committed to offering patients access to routine and essential medical services during the various phases of the Covid-19 pandemic, while ensuring the health and safety of the community, a statement noted.
To support national efforts to combat the Covid-19 pandemic and protect Qatar’s population, PHCC facilities and services are equipped with stringent safety and preventive measures.
PHCC is also taking stringent preventive measures to control the spread of the Covid-19 virus and ensure safety. These measures include the smart scheduling of appointments, the use of personal protective equipment, social distancing, regular virus testing for staff, as well as strict hygiene and disinfection protocols.
