In celebration of Qatar National Day, Qatar Airways is offering an “exclusive promotion” with up to 35% off on all-inclusive fares to more than 140 destinations, available from December 12 to 18, for travel between December 26 and June 15, 2022.
Travellers can enjoy discovering places together with their loved ones, while Privilege Club members will earn double Qmiles in economy or double Qpoints in premium when flying before June 15, 2022.
To take advantage of the “exciting Qatar National Day exclusive offer”, travellers can purchase flight tickets by visiting qatarairways.com/QND, any Qatar Airways sales office or their preferred travel agents.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, HE Akbar al-Baker said, “We are delighted to celebrate Qatar National Day, a precious occasion that gives us the opportunity to celebrate as one nation, and showcase our commitment to the people of Qatar by offering them an exclusive promotion. After two years of travel restrictions, the aviation industry is on a path towards recovery, and to allow our passengers to celebrate this special occasion and the festive season with their loved ones whilst exploring the world, we have introduced this exclusive offer.”
Qatar’s national carrier continues to rebuild its network, which currently stands at over 140 destinations. With more frequencies being added to key hubs, Qatar Airways offers unrivalled connectivity to passengers, making it easy for them to connect to a destination of their choice.
Privilege Club members can earn Qmiles when flying with Qatar Airways and with oneworld airlines, and other airline partners, as well as a number of financial and lifestyle partners.
Qmiles can be redeemed towards a range of rewards including award flights, cabin upgrades, extra baggage, over 350,000 hotels worldwide, or rent a car at over 20,000 locations with hotel and car rewards, and more.
Last year, Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club was one of the first airline loyalty programmes to announce a tier extension offer of up to 12 months to its members and, earlier this year, Privilege Club honoured a further protection of tier status until December 31, 2021.
Over the past year, Privilege Club continued to invest in redefining the programme, including cutting the number of Qmiles required to book award flights by up to 49% as well as removing booking fees for award flights.
It also revised its Qmiles policy so that when a member earns or spends them, their balance is valid for further 36 months.
A multiple award-winning airline, Qatar Airways was announced as the ‘Airline of the Year’ by the international air transport rating organisation, Skytrax, in addition to securing five additional awards including World’s Best Business Class, World’s Best Business Class Airline Lounge, World’s Best Business Class Airline Seat, World’s Best Business Class Onboard Catering and Best Airline in the Middle East.
The airline continues to stand alone at the top of the industry having won the main prize for an unprecedented sixth time (2011, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2021). The airline’s hub, Hamad International Airport (HIA), was also recently recognised as the ‘Best Airport in the World 2021’, ranking at number one in the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2021.
In addition to this, Qatar Airways is the first global airline in the world to achieve the prestigious 5-Star Covid-19 Airline Safety Rating by Skytrax.
This follows the success of HIA as the first airport in the Middle East and Asia to be awarded a Skytrax 5-Star Covid-19 Airport Safety Rating.
These awards provide assurance to passengers around the world that the airline and airport health and safety measures are subject to the highest possible standards of professional, independent scrutiny and assessment.
