Brazil qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar following a 1-0 victory over Colombia on Friday in Matchday 13 of the South America qualifiers.
Lucas Paqueta scored the winning goal for Brazil in the 72nd minute.
Brazil raised their tally to 34 points on top of the qualifiers table. Colombia remained in the fifth spot with 16 points.
The top four position in the South American qualifiers advance directly to the 2022 World Cup. The fifth-place team in South American qualifiers goes into an intercontinental playoff for a World Cup spot.
