MES Indian School, Abu Hamour branch (MESIS), celebrated Teachers' Day on September 5 with participation from students and teachers.
A special assembly was conducted by students of grade VI to VIII. They paid a musical tribute to the teachers.
Jenna Zainab of grade VI C highlighted the significance of the occasion.
Head girl Falaqul Thahira offered felicitations.
Teacher representative Ashokan highlighted the vital role of teachers in the lives of students.
Principal Dr Mohamed Haneef shared his thoughts on the occasion and applauded the contribution of each teacher. Students wrote poems, ‘thank you’ notes and inspirational quotes about teachers.
They also presented handmade cards.
Students from senior classes took on the role of teachers for a 40-minute period. The ‘student teachers’ from grades V to VIII connected with their teachers and delivered lessons to grade I to IV.
