The Social Development Center (Nama), a Qatar Foundation for Social Work center, has launched the 2021 'Be a Social Entrepreneur' campaign with the aim of educating young people in Qatari society about the concept of social entrepreneurship, and qualifying them to become more active and influential in their societies. The campaign also aims at giving a better understanding of how development projects that serve the community can be implemented, and highlights the role of social entrepreneurial projects in achieving sustainable development.

The campaign will continue until August 12, and seeks to enhance the center's role in rehabilitating and empowering young people to interact more positively in Qatari society. A number of Qatari social entrepreneurs participate in it to transfer their expertise and experiences in the field of social entrepreneurship to youth, during which visual materials such as photos and videos will be published on the official accounts of the Nama Center on various social media in order to reach the largest possible segment of young people.

Nama actively seeks to provide a stimulating environment for investment to realise the potential and creative capabilities of young people and meet their needs and aspirations to become active partners in civil work and explorers of the best opportunities and innovative initiatives in order to lead the advancement drive in their communities.
