Joaan Bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College celebrated the graduation of the National Defence Course No 1 and the Joint Command and Staff Course No 7 at the college headquarters, QNA reported.
The ceremony was held under the patronage of HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah, and in the presence of HE Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem.
A number of high-ranking members of the armed forces, senior officials at ministries, institutions and security services participated in the two courses, in addition to officers from brotherly and friendly countries. HE Commander of Joaan Bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College Major General Fahad Mubarak al-Khayareen stressed in his speech that despite the difficult circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic, the college was able to hold courses, and provided human capabilities in the military and academic fields.
The ceremony was attended by a number of senior officers in the armed forces and a number of members of diplomatic missions accredited to the country.
