The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) president Mohammed Ali al-Mannai Thursday welcomed at CRA’s headquarters a delegation from Iran, headed by Minister of Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi. Iran's ambassador to Qatar Hamid Reza Dehghani and other officials from CRA were present.
The meeting included discussions of several topics of common interest in the fields of ICT, in addition to ways of framing the future co-operation. CRA delivered a presentation about the ICT and postal sectors in Qatar, and the Iranian delegation presented the experience of the ICT sector in Iran regarding Covid-19 and the sector's role in mitigating the damage of the pandemic, especially in the education and health sectors.
