Tuesday saw the start of the emergency meeting of the League of Arab States at the level of foreign ministers, in an extraordinary session chaired by HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, the current chair of the league's council.

The meeting, held based on the State of Palestine's request, will discuss Israeli crimes and aggression on Islamic and Christian holy sites in occupied Al Quds, and its assault on worshipers, in addition to Israeli attack and plans to take over homes of Jerusalemites in Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood, in attempt to displace the people of Al Quds.

The meeting aims to develop a decisive Arab position to end these crimes and attacks. (QNA)
