QLM Life and Health Insurance has announced the launch of a family insurance product with four different levels of coverage. This comes within the framework of a series of individual products targeting the individual services sector for citizens and residents of the State of Qatar who wish to obtain health insurance coverage for themselves and their family members.

The launch of this product comes in line with the company's steps that it takes to implement its future strategy aimed at enhancing communication with customers and providing distinctive services to them. The product will be available to all customers through its website www.qlm.com.qa and QLM office

This product has many characteristics in which the customers' needs have been taken into consideration in order to become more suitable for what they are looking for in terms of coverage for health services expenses at the private medical sector, such as private hospitals, health centres, private clinics, dental centers and pharmacies.

Commenting on the family product launch, Ahmad Mohamed Zebeib, Deputy CEO of QLM Life and Health Insurance, said, “Recently we have witnessed an increasing demand for individual health insurance products and the desire of many different segments of society to obtain health care in the sector. This is why we have launched four family insurance programs that include comprehensive coverage or co-payments of medical services, and the four coverage levels range up to comprehensive coverage. The state’s great interest in health care has become the company’s biggest motivation to launch this product, which will contribute to the company's endeavor to achieve the Qatar National Vision 2030. Ahmad Mohamed Zebeib indicated that the price of the product has been determined to be accessible to all segments of society for competitive goals that serve the interest of customers, and under this product, the benefits that customers will receive from service providers will vary according to the type of each service and the service provider. The company uses its full experience in the local market to upgrade the sector and create opportunities for competition in providing services, which is in the interest of customers.

The family insurance product will include medical diagnostics, medical dental services, pregnancy and childbirth services, optical and physiotherapy services, surgeries, laboratories services, dermatological treatments, coverage of chronic diseases and pre-existing cases, coverage of non-chronic diseases, coverage of physical and complementary treatment, chiropractic Spine, acupuncture, homeopathy, osteopathy and Ayurveda and many other benefits, according to the four levels of coverage included in this product. This product will be used by the largest network of medical service providers in the State of Qatar and around the world.

This product will include the families of citizens and residents who have valid Qatari identity cards to become the most comprehensive product in the insurance sector. The services of this product will be provided through the ID card or insurance cards that will be issued by the company. The geographical coverage of the family insurance product will start from the State of Qatar to all over the world with co-insurances for outpatient services starting from Nil up to 20% and comprehensive medical coverage of up to 3,000,000 riyals per person per year as a maximum
