The unique digital raffle system is managed by QNTC, official partner of the Doha Festival City raffle draw. The draw finale will be held on April 9, when the winners will be announced live on the mall’s large digital screen near Cup of Joe and online as well on the same day.

Festival City customers who wish to participate in the raffle draw will need to stamp their receipts directly at each store upon purchase. Once stamped, the purchased items cannot be exchanged or refunded. However, those hesitating about an exchange or a refund will be able to keep their receipt and stamp it once they have made a decision about keeping the purchased items, the statement explains.

To complete the registration and enter the raffle draw, shoppers will have to scan a QR code available throughout DHFC as well as on the Doha Festival City and QNTC social media channels.

Afterwards, customers will receive a WhatsApp link through which they will be able to finalise the registration process by sending their stamped receipts, with a possibility to cumulate receipts from different stores.

In case customers encounter any difficulties during their registration process, the Doha Festival City customer service team will be available to help on 4035 4444. Participating customers will need to keep their receipts to present them during the collection of the prize along with their proof of identity, should they be named among the winners.

Robert Hall, Doha Festival City general manager, said: “In partnership with QNTC, we are thrilled to be launching Doha’s first-ever digital raffle draw in Qatar. This is another testament to our commitment to offering our customers unique and memorable experiences as well as exclusive giveaways. This pioneering initiative would not have been possible without the support of QNTC, and we are incredibly grateful to Universal Motors - Lotus for sponsoring the grand prize, a truly amazing giveaway in recognition of our customers’ loyalty.

"We hope this raffle draw will bring joy and excitement to our customers’ shopping experience, and would like to invite all residents in Qatar to participate and have the chance to win at the one and only Festival City."

The DHFC opening hours are from 10am to 10 pm, Saturday to Wednesday, and from 10am to 11pm, Thursday to Friday.

In line with the preventive measures set out by the authorities, Doha Festival City has introduced stringent health and safety measures throughout the mall for its staff and visitors. These include a thorough mall disinfection treatment on a weekly basis, robust cleaning and sanitisation operations during mall trading hours and 127 hand sanitising stations installed in the areas that have commonly touched surfaces.

At the entrance to the mall and all shops, visitors must show their green Ehteraz code and should wear a face mask during their whole time in the mall. There are physical distancing stickers in common queuing areas, such as ATM machines, banks, telecommunication kiosks and branches and various retail shops, to help shoppers keep the required physical distance as set forth in the guidelines by the authorities.

Stores will provide sanitisers on entry and at cash points to ensure the highest level of hygiene, the statement adds.
