Global index compiler FTSE Russell will include Qatari German Medical Devices and Gulf Warehousing under its microcap category, while Baladna will be deleted from the microcap segment.
The changes, which come as part of the February 2021 semi-annual review, will be effective after the close of business on March 19, 2021 (March 22, 2021).
The FTSE said the index review changes may be subject to revision until the close of business on March 5, 2021. Effective Monday (March 8), the index review changes will be considered final.
"Any subsequent changes will generally only be considered in exceptional circumstances, in accordance with the FTSE Russell recalculation policy and guidelines," the compiler said.
