The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) on Monday announced the closure of two retail outlets in Umm Lekhba and Labor City respectively, for violating the Ministry's circulars regarding precautionary and preventive measures put in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19, and for failing to meet general and special requirements.

These measures come as part of the Ministry’s keen efforts to monitor and regulate markets and commercial activities across Qatar, and to monitor the degree of compliance with laws and regulations governing commercial activities, as well as following up on compliance with the Ministry's circulars regarding precautionary and preventive measures.
