The General Authority of Customs (GAC) on Sunday said in a tweet that its Land Customs Department began its duties at the Abu Samra border in the morning by opening the way for trade procedures between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, for the import and export of commercial goods and shipments, while following the conditions announced by the authority.
 
It was recently announced that commercial land cargo movement between Qatar and Saudi Arabia would resume on February 14. Accordingly, a number of regulatory and precautionary controls pertaining to the movement of imported and transiting goods through the land border between the two countries were announced on the GAC website.
