To celebrate the FIFA Club World Cup 2020, Qatar Airways, the Official Airline Partner, hosted an exclusive drive-in viewing of the final match on Thursday, at the Lusail drive-in cinema.
The special viewing was attended by Qatar Airways Privilege Club members, media, influencers, corporate and trade, as they enjoyed an exciting finale in a safe and physically-distanced setting.
Qatar Airways chief commercial officer, Thierry Antinori, said: “We are delighted to have hosted this exclusive FIFA Club World Cup 2020 drive-in viewing, an event that reflects the airline’s commitment to sports. This final match screening at the Lusail drive-in cinema offered our guests a truly unique open-air viewing experience, while maintaining all necessary precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our invitees.”
Qatar Airways offered guests at the drive-in viewing complimentary blankets, protective kits, and a range of on-board snacks and light delicacies, thereby hosting an on-board experience on the ground to enhance the sporty ambience.
The finals at the Education City Stadium, saw the European representatives, FC Bayern München, defeat Tigres UANL.
