Department of Meteorology has warned of poor visibility late Monday night in its daily weather report. The Met Dept said weather inshore Monday night until 6am Tuesday will be cold by night and misty to foggy at places by late night. Offshore, there will be some clouds and it will be hazy with chance of mist at places later, the report added.

Wind inshore will be northwesterly at a speed of 05 to 10 knot.

Offshore, it will be northwesterly at a speed of 05 to 15 knot, gusting to 18 knot at north at times.

Visibility will be 4 to 8km or 2km or less at places by late night.

Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 feet surging to 4 feet north at times. Offshore, it will be 2 to 4 feet surging to 5 feet north at times.
