The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced that the age- and health-based hotel quarantine exemption is not applicable for arrivals from the UK, South Africa, Netherlands and Denmark.

"Further to the recently announced update, effective Sunday 24th January 2021 to departure and arrival policies and exemptions from hotel quarantine, the Ministry of Public Health states that quarantine exemption based on age and health conditions is not applicable to arrivals from the UK, Republic of South Africa, the Netherlands, Denmark, as previously announced by MoPH," the ministry said in a post on social media on Wednesday.

The MoPH had on Tuesday announced an update to the list of groups eligible for home quarantine, effective from January 24 (Sunday) at all ports of entry to the country.
