HE the President of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani on Tuesday met with International Judo Federation (IJF) president Marius Vizer who is currently visiting Doha to attend the IJF Doha Masters, Qatar News Agency reported. During the meeting, they reviewed sports co-operation between the two parties and means of developing and boosting them. HE Sheikh Joaan welcomed Vizer, noting the fruitful and deep relations between the Qatari and international federations. He thanked the international federation for the significant role it plays in developing the game and increasing its popularity around the world, affirming that Qatar will continue supporting judo at all levels, in close co-operation with the IJF. In turn, Vizer expressed satisfaction with the visit to Doha and the meeting of Qatari sports officials, praising the international sporting status of Qatar and the organisational and technical level of the IJF Doha Masters.
