His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani participated along with the GCC leaders and heads of delegations in the 41st session of the GCC Supreme Council, which was held at Maraya Center in Al-Ula Governorate in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.
The session was attended by a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying His Highness the Amir, a number of Their Royal Highnesses the Princes, and members of the accompanying official delegations.
It was also attended by the Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation Dr Yousef Ahmed al-Othaimeen, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and Senior Adviser to the US President Jared Kushner.
His Highness the Amir later attended the luncheon banquet hosted by Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman in honour of leaders of states and heads of delegations.
Earlier, His Highness the Amir and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Prince Abdul Majeed Bin Abdulaziz Airport in Al-Ula by Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman and GCC Secretary General Dr Nayef Falah al-Hajraf.
Later in the evening, the Amir and his accompanying delegation returned to Doha.
