Qatar’s star athlete Mutaz Essa Barshim affirmed that 2030 Doha’s bid is very integrated and has covered all the aspects, meeting all the required facilities. “The previous edition of 2006 Asian Games was ranked as a successful edition according to the top continental and world’s sporting leaders. The 2006 Asian Games was the first step for hosting top sporting events in Doha. There has been a huge development in all fields that support Qatar in hosting mega sporting events.”

“Over the past few years, Qatar has been very adaptive to host international events and championships. It has got the right resources including well prepared manpower and infrastructure,” he added.

The 29 years old voiced confidently that the Doha’s 2030 strength points represented in world class venues, developed facilities, well-structured transport system, using top technology and innovation to overcome any challenges will assist and raise Qatar’s chances to win the bid.

Commenting on the essentiality of the 2030 Asian Games to the Arabian youth, he responded, “These top sporting events will shape Arabian youth more and will add more technical capability and experience for them. I hope all the Arabian athletes will rightly benefit towards better improvement,” he concluded.
