*Agreement reflects Amir's keenness to maintain Gulf unity, says Sheikh Nawaf

The Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmed al-Sabah has sent messages thanking His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman al-Saud, expressing his appreciation for their roles in efforts to resolve the GCC crisis.
In his message to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim, he conveyed his best wishes of health and thanked him for the efforts exerted by Qatar to make a success of the efforts started by the late Amir of Kuwait to resolve the GCC crisis and arrive at a final agreement that guaranteed solidarity and co-operation in having a united GCC.
Sheikh Nawaf described the achievement of an agreement "among brothers" as reflecting His Highness the Amir's keenness to maintain the gains of the GCC structure, its unity, solidity and role on the regional and international arenas.
He further said that this will enable the GCC leaders to work together for achieving the hopes and aspirations of the peoples and meet the major challenges facing the region.
He further wished the Amir and Qatar continuous progress and development under his wise leadership.
