Following Vodafone Qatar’s "hugely successful and fully sold-out" launch of the 5G iPhone 12 line-up, the company has announced the arrival of new limited stock with the opportunity to trade-in one's current iPhone for a credit towards the purchase of the new iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro or iPhone 12 Pro Max.

"The hugely popular Vodafone Trade-in Programme is an easy way to get the latest iPhone. And, when trading in, customers will get an extra QR300 discount on their iPhone purchase if they sign up to a new postpaid Unlimited 5G Plan or upgrade their existing plan to an Unlimited 5G Plan," Vodafone Qatar said in a statement on Saturday.

For example, customers who trade-in their current iPhone XS 64GB and sign up to a new Unlimited 5G plan will get an iPhone 12 Pro 128GB for QR2,999 or better still, if they trade-in an iPhone 11 Pro 64GB and sign up for an Unlimited 5G plan, they will get an iPhone 12 Mini for QR999.

"Unlimited 5G plans are the perfect plans for iPhone 12 models, giving customers unlimited local data and calls as well as roaming data in up to 140 countries. On top of this, Vodafone exclusively offers customers a free second year warranty worth QR295 with every iPhone 12 purchase," the statement notes.

All customers have to do is bring the iPhone/s they want to trade-in to one of the following Vodafone retail stores for valuation: Villaggio, Mall of Qatar, Landmark Mall, City Center Doha, Tawar Mall, Doha Festival City, Al Wakra, LuLu D-Ring Road, LuLu Gharafa, LuLu Al Khor, Al Wakra, Al Nasr, Al Kharaitiyat, The Pearl-Qatar and Al Furossiya.

Customers can trade-in up to three iPhones starting with the iPhone 5 for the purchase of one of the new iPhone 12 models. Returning accessories is not required with Vodafone’s Trade-In Programme and the final sale value will be based on fixed criteria such as iPhone model, device functionality, battery functionality and screen intactness.

"To trade in your phones safely and securely, customers should log out of iCloud, remove their SIM or memory card, delete all personal information and reset to Factory Settings," the statement adds.
