The ‘Self-Service Kiosks’ seminar by the Ministry of Transportation and Communication (MoTC) has concluded. According to a tweet by the ministry, the seminar was attended by government entities and representatives from various departments.
The seminar introduced the project that aims to provide a new channel for easier communication between users and government entities and smoother faster access to government services. It was held as part of Qatar Digital Government 2020 Strategy.
The programme was intended to provide additional access to digital channels for e-Government services including a new generation of kiosks to extend user reach and increase the number of digital transactions. The virtual meeting focused on the kiosk deployment and management of e-government services through a network of self-service kiosks.
The Qatar Digital Government 2020 Strategy is about simple, fast and secure services, anywhere, anytime. The strategy focuses on people, using technology to deliver real benefits to the people of Qatar --to members of the public, whether they are citizens, residents or visitors; businesses and private organisations; and government entities themselves.
The Qatar Digital Government 2020 strategy will enhance the customer experience, provide greater access to government services, and improve government efficiency, leading to better outcomes for the nation.
