* Covid-19 measures to continue

The Cabinet has given its approval to a proposal of the Qatar National Tourism Council to participate in a number of foreign exhibitions in 2021, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reports. This came during the Cabinet's regular meeting at the Amiri Diwan Wednesday, which was chaired by HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al-Thani.
Following the meeting, HE the Minister of Justice and Acting Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Dr Issa bin Saad al-Jafali al-Nuaimi issued a statement giving the details of the proceedings. At the beginning of the meeting, the Cabinet listened to an explanation provided by HE the Minister of Public Health on the latest developments to curb the spread of Covid-19. Accordingly, the Council affirmed the continuation of the precautionary measures that have been taken in order to combat the pandemic, QNA said.
After that, the Council gave its approval to a draft memorandum of understanding (MoU) on co-operation in the field of social affairs between the governments of Qatar and Kuwait, as well as a draft MoU on co-operation between the Ministry of Justice's Legal and Judicial Studies Centre in Qatar and the Kuwait Institute for Judicial and Legal Studies in Kuwait.
Further, it gave its approval to a draft MoU on co-operation in the field of oversight work between the State Audit Bureau in Qatar and the Audit Bureau in Jordan, and a draft MoU on co-operation in the field of supervisory work between the State Audit Bureau in Qatar and the Public Finance Court in Morocco, QNA added.
