The Ministry of Justice joined Qatar Open Data, sharing its data with all the government and private bodies, whether a member or a follower of the portal, in co-operation and co-ordination with the Ministry of Transport and Communications, which supervises the portal. With this step, the Ministry of Justice makes all data that serve the local and foreign public on the portal in both the Arabic and English languages, in accordance with international standards used in this field.
The joining of the Ministry of Justice with Qatar Open Data comes in light of the requirements of Qatar Digital Government 2020, and the Second National Development Strategy of 2018-2022, which emphasises the importance of enhancing efficiency and transparency in providing public services to achieve the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030, including strengthening the channels of access to the Ministry's services, as well as to facilitate reaching them.
The sharing of the Ministry of Justice's open data aims to confirm transparency in the implementation of transactions, enhance interaction and communication with the public, and activate all digital platforms to provide the Ministry's services to the public electronically within an integrated step that is being implemented for this purpose.
With this step, all of the Ministry's clients inside or outside will be able to access the legal and service data of the Ministry of Justice, such as real estate bulletins and specialised training courses that are implemented at the Center of Legal and Judicial Studies (CLJS), in addition to other statistics and data that interest the public, enshrine the principle of transparency and enhance the investment climate in the country.
