Twelve Qataris took the legal oath at the Ministry of Justice as accredited experts before the judicial authorities in the country, in accordance with the regulations stipulated in Law No (16) of 2017 regulating the work of expertise.
The experts received registration certificates to carry out their duties after they were registered at the Experts Department of the Ministry of Justice.
The batch includes many cadres with expertise in different disciplines, including rare specialities, such as chemical engineering, quantity calculation engineering, building contract engineering, forgery and forgery detection, and specialised expertise in accounting and real estate valuation.
HE the Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Dr Issa Saad al-Jafali al-Nuaimi congratulated the new experts and expressed happiness over the Qatari competencies with rare specialisations that will constitute a qualitative addition to their judicial colleagues, while stressing the Ministry of Justice’s keenness to encourage Qatari experts and to qualify them in various fields.
The ministry is focused on preparing and qualifying national cadres and experts, and it works to attract those with rare and distinguished expertise to enhance the efficiency of  the work of the judicial authorities and to provide the necessary technical expertise in various fields and disciplines. This will help in achieving the goal to provide distinguished expertise, to accompany the comprehensive renaissance that the state has witnessed in all fields and to contribute to the consolidation of justice.
As part of its efforts to strengthen the national cadre of experts, the Ministry of Justice is also working to increase the number of experts and to diversify their fields of expertise, especially rare technical expertise, as an advanced system for the roster of experts has been developed to document and register various experiences in all disciplines, along with the establishment of rules governing registration of experts in the rosters.
Experts are being prepared and qualified to practice the profession efficiently and impartially, through integrated training programmes that the applicants receive before taking the oath.
