Qatar Olympic Committee's (QOC) second edition of the Padel Tournament 2020 started at Al Sadd Sports Club, with the participation of 304 players, and will run until Saturday.
Participants in the tournament were divided into three categories, as eight teams will play in category (A), 48 in category (B), and 96 in category (C).
The Olympic Committee allocated prizes for the participants in the tournament, with the total value of prizes reaching 100,000 QR, in addition to other prizes offered by the official sponsors.
The Qatar Olympic Committee for Padel Tournament 2020 is keen to observe the precautionary measures to prevent Coronavirus outbreak, which includes showing the health status with a green color in "Ehteraz" application, measuring the temperature before entering, and putting masks in the hall while maintaining social distancing and staying in designated seats.
QOC's organization of the Padel Tournament comes within the framework of strengthening its role in social responsibility and raising awareness of the importance of practicing sport for a healthy and disease-free life.
