Qatar Leadership Centre (QLC) will honour its eighth class at a special graduation ceremony, to be conducted via QLC’s digital platforms, Monday.
To be held under the patronage of HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, Chairperson of the QLC Board of Directors, the virtual graduation will feature traditional elements of the yearly celebration, including a special video convocation address.
The virtual celebration will be launched at 6pm at www.qlc.org.qa. It will welcome all virtual visitors to congratulate the 147 Qataris who have completed their studies in the National Leadership Programmes (Rising, Government and Executive Leaders Programmes) and the Executive Master’s in Leadership – Qatar, offered by Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
Family, friends, colleagues, professors, alumni and the community are welcome to the virtual event, QLC has said in a statement. After the initial launch, QLC’s website will remain open to visitors who would like to replay the celebrations and share congratulatory messages with the graduates through the online guestbook.
Following the Ministry of Public Health's safety guidelines, QLC has converted its annual in-person graduation celebration into a virtual event to combat the spread of Covid-19.
