Qatar participated in the 10th meeting of the security media committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states. The meeting was held on Tuesday via video conferencing technology.
Director of the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Interior Brigadier Abdullah Khalifa Al Muftah represented the State of Qatar in the meeting, which discussed a number of issues related to security awareness.
Qatar also participated in the thirty-third meeting of airport security officials in the GCC countries that was held via video conferencing technology, with a delegation headed by Assistant Director of the Airport Security Department Lieutenant Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al Musallam.
The meeting discussed a number of issues related to airport security, the "electronic single window" project, and measures to enhance airport security in the GCC countries.
