Moti Marzbani, renowned motivational speaker, enthralled attendees of the second edition of the ICC Advanced Toastmasters Club’s series ‘Ignite Possibilities’ recently. 
Marzbani, an entrepreneur and chartered accountant, is managing her own management consulting business Marzbani & Company for 32 years from Toronto, Canada. She spoke on the topic ‘The Sunny Side’ of the life amidst challenges and critical situations during the session.
A certified professional in risk and information systems control, fraud examiner and hypnotherapist, Marzbani was able to inspire the audience with her personal anecdotes as well as prolific citations from various authors as she listed the ways people can stay positive while facing any situation in life. The session was appreciated by the attendees during the Q&A session. Christopher Almeida, president of the club, proposed a vote of thanks on behalf of everyone at the end of the session.
Under the patronage of ICC Advanced Toastmasters Club, ‘Ignite Possibilities’ series was successfully kicked off on August 1, 2020. 
Renowned speakers from around the world are invited to share their experiences, motivations, lessons learnt and tips to unearth the potentials of the attendees during the sessions that are held online. ICC Advanced Toastmasters Club boasts of the maximum number of distinguished toastmasters (18) in the region, and endeavours to get internationally acclaimed speakers every month for the meetings held on the first Saturday of every month.
The series is a brain child of M I Farid, a retired administrative director from KEMCO Group an ardent toastmaster for past 17 years. Farid is passionate about cricket, educational and social activities, and pioneer of ‘Qatar Talks’ – the most prestigious platform for aspiring public speakers. He was keen to make the most of online meetings and decided to tap the possibilities in the neighbourhood and share the nuggets of wisdom from the motivational speakers all over the world. Farid was assisted by some of his fellow members who helped him in shaping up his dream. 
The team lead by him includes: Thayalan Kailayapillai, District Director 116; Philip Cherian, immediate past president of ICC Advanced Toastmasters Club; Christopher Almeida, President ICC Advanced Toastmasters Club; Alar Mel Mangai, vice president Education; and Nalini Mathur; treasurer.
