Qatar Scientific Club launched on Sunday the second group of the challenge competition in designing projects using printed circuit boards (PCB) under the title "Challenge Your Abilities," which will continue until August 26 after the first group ended on the 20th.

Engineer Abdulaziz Al Jabri, Technical Director of the Qatar scientific club, told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the competition aims to highlight the skills of the participants in using and installing electronic circuits and motivate young people to compete in a positive and constructive manner. He added that the competition includes two projects, a frequency alarm and a robot device that utilise the printed circuit boards.

Al Jabri stated that the scientific club has designated a jury according to the criteria that evaluate the full operation of the electronic circuit, the quality of parts assembly, selections of materials and pieces, the final shape of the project and the suitability of the final form of the projects with its basic purpose.

Qatar scientific club aims to provide a creative and attractive scientific environment that enables young people to learn and innovate in a way that serves the Qatari community and encourage young people to empower them in scientific fields, stimulate them to innovate, and support their ideas and projects.
