The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary full closure of Al Khaleej Street and the underpass at the Gulf Interchange in both directions, in the section between Wadi Musheireb Interchange and Gulf Interchange from Thursday until August 23.
The closure in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic is to enable the completion of the wearing course as part of the B-Ring Road Development Project.
During the closure, road users will be required to use Ibn Mahmoud Street and Al Diwan Street, parallel to Al Khaleej Street, to reach their destinations.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
