The normal technical inspection of vehicles resumed at Woqod's Fahes centres, in co-ordination with the Traffic Department, Sunday.
Vehicles could be seen queuing up at Fahes centres in different places since the morning.
Since March 22, vehicles in Qatar had been exempted from inspection until further notice because of the Covid-19 situation. Vehicle owners were allowed to register for inspection, as well as make payments, using the Woqod mobile app without having to go to any technical inspection centre.

That exemption from physical inspection ended with effect from August 1, in line with an announcement made on the social media pages of Qatar Fuel (Woqod) last month.
"All vehicles registered online for inspection after July 31 will need to undergo a complete vehicle inspection at Fahes centres," the announcement had said, adding that the Fahes centres would resume normal operations for vehicle inspections from August 9.
Further, the announcement noted that heavy vehicles that used to be inspected at the Industrial Area Fahes centre prior to the closure would now be inspected at Fahes, Al Mazrouah.
