Vodafone Qatar has been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certification for human resources (HR), one of only seven organisations in the country to achieve this status.

The recognition affirms Vodafone Qatar’s ability to provide a solid framework of core HR services that delivers optimum employee satisfaction that reflects on the customer through sustained service excellence and quality of services.

An extensive audit conducted by the British Standards Institution (BSI) assessed all aspects of the company’s HR function against international standards, including all procedures and policies, and notably concluded with zero non-conformances, observations, or recommendations for improvement. Vodafone Qatar is, therefore, considered one of the first companies to obtain the ISO certification for HR from the very first audit.

Commenting on the achievement, Khames Mohamed al-Naimi, chief human resources officer at Vodafone Qatar, said, “The ISO certification for HR is a pivotal milestone towards embedding a high-performance quality culture and service excellence within our organisational DNA.

“These are values that reinforce Vodafone Qatar’s goal of achieving employee satisfaction to positively benefit the customer experience. We spent many months preparing for the certification and we truly appreciate the tenacity and hard work of the entire Vodafone Qatar team even amidst a global pandemic.”

This most recent ISO 9001:2015 certificate for HR follows Vodafone Qatar’s re-certification to the prestigious ISO 22301:2012 for its Business Continuity Management System in 2019.

The company has successfully implemented this system and strong continuity measures since the beginning of the pandemic to continue delivering essential telecommunications products and services.
