The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced the conversion of Wadi Musheireb Roundabout to a signalised intersection and closure of exits leading to B-Ring Road and Salwa Road from Wadi Musheireb Street while the bridge is open in both directions from Saturday for two months.
The closure that will be implemented in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic has been announced in order to allow upgrading of the intersection within the B-Ring Road Project.
During the closure, road users heading towards Salwa Road or B-Ring Road from Wadi Musheireb Street can use the bridge and then the alternative routes shown in the map. Those heading to Ibn Mahmoud Street will use the bridge, then make a U-turn at Ibn Seena Intersection and then make another U-turn before reaching Wadi Musheireb Street.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the closure. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
