Gulf Times hits the stands again Thursday after a short break necessitated by the Covid-19 restrictions. With the resumption of the print edition, Qatar’s most widely read English newspaper continues its mission of bringing cheer to its readers every morning. During the interim period, we at Gulf Times have tried our best to stand with our readers by keeping them abreast of global developments by publishing all the news and views online.

The past days have been hard on all of us but the people of Qatar have shown utmost resilience and full compliance with the preventive measures advised by the authorities. The Government of Qatar has won the praise of the whole world for providing the best treatment to all the residents of the country and keeping the death rate one of the lowest for the pandemic in the world.
As a result we are past the peak of the virus outbreak and the nation is steadily progressing towards its noble goals. We thank our patrons, both readers and advertisers, for their enduring support. Happy reading. STAY SAFE.
