* 262 more mosques to reopen Wednesday
* Katara all set to reopen some of the beaches
* QNL to welcome patrons from July 15


All preparations have been made and precautionary measures put in place as beaches, restaurants, museums and more mosques and public parks are set to reopen around the country Wednesday as part of Phase 2 of the gradual lifting of Covid-19 restrictions.
From clean-up operations at parks and beaches to listing the dos and don'ts for visitors, the organisations and authorities concerned have taken the necessary steps to ensure public health and safety.

The Ministry of Awqaf (Endowments) and Islamic Affairs Monday announced that 262 more mosques will reopen across Qatar Wednesday, except for Friday prayers. In the first phase, 500 mosques were reopened in the country.
The ministry has urged the faithful to follow the guidelines and precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The mosques will open from the Fajr prayer Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), represented by the various municipalities around the country, has intensified efforts to get public parks and beaches ready for the reopening Wednesday.
Accordingly, all necessary maintenance, cleaning and sanitisation works have been carried out while also ensuring that the necessary precautionary and preventive measures are in place.
Like in other public places reopening Wednesday, visitors to parks and beaches are also required to comply with the guidelines prepared by the authorities concerned.
Meanwhile, Katara - the Cultural Village Foundation said it has taken all necessary measures to ensure social distancing as it reopens some of its beaches Wednesday. It has put in place rules for visitors to follow to ensure everyone's safety.
Qatari Diar has announced the reopening of the Lusail Marina Promenade with its facilities, Crescent Park and Lusail Marina Food Arena to the public from July 1.
Earlier, Qatar Museums had announced that a number of museums and heritage sites across Qatar will reopen to the public from July 1, in accordance with recommendations from the Ministry of Public Health.
Meanwhile, Qatar National Library (QNL) on Monday announced that it would begin welcoming people back to its building in Education City from July 15.
QNL will welcome patrons aged 13 to 60 years, and will remain closed on weekends for now.
