Albanian Minister of Health and Social Care Ogerta Manastirliu, Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Etjen Xhafaj, and Qatar’s ambassador to Albania Ali bin Hamad al-Marri welcome a Qatar Airways flight which brought urgent medical assistance provided by Qatar to support Albania’s efforts to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic, in Tirana on Thursday.
Also on Thursday, another shipment of medical aid arrived in Luanda as part of Qatar's efforts to help Angola combat the pandemic.
The shipments were co-ordinated through the Qatar Fund for Development and come as per the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani.
