In continuation of the success of Toyota Hybrid Familiarisation programme held recently for their top corporate customers, AAB fleet sales team concluded a deal for supplying Toyota Corolla hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) for Brunel Oil and Gas Services.
The delivery of Corolla HEV, held at Al Abdulghani Tower Toyota showroom, witnessed AAB acting chief executive officer R K Murugan handing over the symbolic key to Brunel Oil Middle East and India managing director K Viswanath.
The programme was attended by Toyota’s fleet sales manager K S Ravi Kumar and senior manager Awwad Mohamed.
AAB Toyota fleet sales division has been organising periodic HEV familiarisation programmes to major fleet clients to illustrate the major benefits: fuel economy, low CO2 emissions, low NVH levels and power drive feel in Toyota HEVs.
AAB fleet sales team is successfully promoting HEVs to enhance Toyota fleet business in Qatar.
Brunel is part of Brunel International NV, a company registered in the Netherlands (Amsterdam) and listed in the Dutch Stock Exchange.
Brunel operates under the trade name of Brunel Oil & Gas Services WLL, which is locally registered in Qatar under an association with Al Rimal Trading Company of Qatar and Brunel Energy Holding bv.
Toyota currently has three hybrid models in its line-up in Qatar viz. Toyota Camry HEV, Toyota Corolla HEV and Toyota RAV 4 HEV. AAB will be introducing more Toyota HEVs in coming months this year.
All the Toyota HEV vehicles are getting good response from the customers due to the smoother and quieter ride performance. By seamlessly switching between electric and petrol power, or using a combination of both, Toyota hybrid technology offers excellent motoring sustainability through low fuel consumption and efficient energy recycling – all without compromising the driving experience.
Toyota Hybrid system seamlessly integrates the high torque of a battery-powered electric motor with the efficient power of a petrol-driven combustion engine.
To maximise performance and efficiency as you drive, the Toyota Hybrid system senses the demand on the engine and automatically switches the car between petrol and electric power or combines both to power you ahead.
Regular driving, braking and slowing down all recharge the Hybrid battery so Toyota Hybrids are self-charging and never need plugging into a main supply. AAB is offering eight years/160,000km warranty for Hybrid battery in Qatar.
