*MDD Tram holds its services
Msheireb Museums, the four heritage houses and the cultural destination at Msheireb Downtown Doha, has announced the temporary closure of its facilities in Msheireb Downtown Doha until further notice.
This action is being taken by Msheireb Properties "to support the precautionary measures put in place by the State of Qatar to prevent and contain the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19)", a press statement notes.
"While regretting the inconvenience, Msheireb Properties, the developer of the flagship project Msheireb Downtown Doha, applauds the effort taken by the Qatari authorities to tackle the coronavirus spread and wishes the citizens and residents of Qatar well-being and health," the statement notes.
In addition, Msheireb Properties has halted the Tram service at Msheireb Downtown Doha until further notice for the same reason.
"The closure of Msheireb Museums and MDD tram is part of the response Msheireb Properties is taking at its flagship project Msheireb Downtown Doha to help secure the health of local community and support the effort of Qatari authorities," the statement adds.
