The Amiri Gems pavilion at Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition (DJWE) 2020 is hosting the renowned British jewellery brand, Annoushka, with several exciting collections. Marking its 10th anniversary, this is the second time the brand is taking part in the DJWE and is very upbeat about the exhibition. “The exhibition is definitely bigger than last time and we are getting a lot of clients right from day one," Daragh Hanafin, head of Private Sales, Annoushka, told Gulf Times.

"We find the participants at the exhibition have a very exquisite taste about the jewellery collections and are highly passionate about worthy collections. We make some of the best collections and there has been great demand for such jewellery wherever we operate. Within a decade of our existence, we have carved a name for our brand and we have a great number of loyal patrons around the world,” he explained.
Set up by leading British jewellery designer, Annoushka Ducas, the brand, Annoushka, was launched with her husband, entrepreneur John Ayton in 2009. An intuitive designer, Annoushka is inspired by her extensive travels and fuelled by a collector’s passion for the exotic and unique.
“Her ability to interpret colour, render texture and lend movement and mood to jewellery is the result of spending 30 years working alongside master craftsmen. In her latest collection, Annoushka explores the spirit of a quintessentially British Summer tradition. The collection entitled Garden Party, inspired by the gardens surrounding Annoushka’s West Sussex home, pairs a whimsical essence with a strong, 70’s inspired aesthetic. The result is a strikingly graphic collection with a playful, tactile movement that defines her design style,” pointed out Hanafin.
“We have 12 stores, with most based in the UK. We have also some stores in Hong Kong. Our collections attract a great amount of interest from people wherever we exhibit them. We had a great number of people visiting last year and that is why we are here again,” he continued.
He said that the response to the jewellery collections from the visitors, has been very encouraging and promising. “Our visitors are very pleased with our collections and share their happiness with us every time. We also find more number of people visiting us this year and that has helped us. We do hope to come back next year as we find the people here very nice and hospitable,” added Hanafin.
