The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a two-week closure from 11pm to 5am at two routes towards Al Waab at Faleh Bin Nasser Intersection from Haloul Intersection on Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor and from Bu Samra on Salwa Road.
The closure which started on Sunday, is being implemented in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, is to facilitate continuation of the works of the cable-stayed bridge.
Road users coming from Haloul Intersection on Sabah Al Ahmed Corridor towards Al Waab can take a right turn at Faleh Bin Nasser Intersection, then U-Turn at Al Asiri Intersection, continue through Salwa Road and take a right turn onto Ahmed bin Taymiya Street to reach Al Waab.
Road users coming from Bu Samra on Salwa Rd towards Al Waab can continue through Faleh Bin Nasser Intersection underpass, then U-turn at Al Asiri Intersection and then take a right turn onto Ahmed Bin Taymiya Street to reach Al Waab.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the closure and requested road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure safety.
