Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa received the credentials of Qatar's ambassador Jassim bin Jabor Jassim al-Suroor.
The ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to the Sri Lankan president, wishing him the best of health and happiness and the government and people of Sri Lanka further progress and prosperity.
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa reciprocated the Amir's greetings and wished the ambassador success in carrying out his duties, assuring him of support to advance the relations between Qatar and Sri Lanka.
