Qatar took part in the extraordinary session of the Arab League Council at the level of permanent representatives to discuss the current developments in Libya, chaired by Iraqi Ambassador in Cairo and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Ahmed al-Dulaimi at the Arab League headquarters Tuesday.
Qatar's Permanent Representative to the Arab League Ambassador Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz al-Sahlawi chaired the delegation of Qatar to the meeting.
The meeting discusses the ongoing developments in Libya and the importance of adopting a joint Arab position aiming at restoring stability in the country through political means.
